LEAF IDENTIFICATION PROJECT

Rubric for Grading

This project is due October 2.  Click here for WORD document with instructions.

• Collect tree leaves as they turn color. You may use green leaves too!
• Only use one leaf per tree type.
• Press the leaves using a book and paper towels.
• Glue your leaf to a piece of construction paper.
• Use the attached leaf chart to identify your leaves.
• Write the name of each leaf on the paper.
• Arrange your leaf pages in alphabetical order.
• Make a booklet with your leaf pages.
• Decorate the cover of your booklet with a title, your name, and the date!
